Why military Golf

To serve those who serve us by ensuring their morale, welfare and recreation (MWR) is not forgotten. Positive MWR has proven to be an integral component in the well-being and quality of life of our active duty and their families, shows our retires that we have not forgotten the sacrifices they made throughout their honorable 20+ year service career, and provides our wounded warriors an enjoyable outdoor setting for their rehab and adjust to a new lifestyle.

Since 2011, your tax dollars are no longer appropriated to support Military Golf. They are required to be self-sufficient. This elimination in funding has caused these recreational facilities for our troops and their families to decline and in some cases close indefinitely due to deterioration from aging and lack of adequate upkeep. In 2013, OSMG was founded to allow all of us to step up to the plate to help fill this funding void for our heroes.
